Frontier Christmas or A Winter Frolic

Frontier Christmas/A Winter Frolic takes place each winter at the American West Heritage Center. It features holiday music, crafts for young and old, old time photos with Santa, and the new March of the Socks, where professional artists decorate Christmas stockings as a fundraiser.

After considerable research, "A Winter Frolic" was chosen as the name of this event early in 2006. Subsequent negative reactions to this title by some AWHC staff may compell the AWHC to change the title again. "Frontier Christmas" has no "branding" impact, while "A Winter Frolic" garnered some attention simply because of the old-fashioned name. Whatever choice is made, the name should have branding potential.
